Navicent Health offers a comprehensive benefit programs to help you achieve an optimal work-life blend. Navicent Health realizes that "one size fits all" doesn't always apply to everyone. That's why we provide teammates with the flexibility and power to choose their benefit plans to meet their specific needs.


Medical Benefits

  • Two plans are offered:
    - The Basic Health Plan is a traditional PPO with co-pays for office visits, prescriptions, and urgent care.
    - The Choice Health Plan is a high deductible plan with a Health Savings Account with an employer contribution
  • Both plan premiums are generously subsidized by Navicent Health
  • Prescription drug coverage included
  • Coverage available to Full-Time teammates working 30 or more hours per week and Part-Time teammates scheduled to work 20-29 hours per week
  • Coverage begins on 1st of the month following 30 days of active employment

Dental Benefits

  • Two plans are offered:
    - The Basic Dental Plan covers up to $1,500 per year
    - The Standard Dental Plan covers up to $2,000 per year
  • Preventive, basic, major, and orthodontic services are covered according to plan level
  • Coverage available to Full-Time teammates working 30 or more hours per week and Part-Time teammates scheduled to work 20-29 hours per week
  • Coverage begins on 1st of the month following 30 days of active employment

Vision Benefits

  • Two plans are offered:
    - The Basic Vision Plan has a lower premium and co-pays for exams and materials
    - The Standard Vision Plan has a higher premium and no co-pays for exams and materials
  • Coverage available to Full-Time teammates working 30 or more hours per week and Part-Time teammates scheduled to work 20-29 hours per week
  • Coverage begins on 1st of the month following 30 days of active employment

Life/Accidental Death Insurance

  • Basic Life & Accidental Death coverage at one times (1x) base annual salary and the premiums are fully paid by Navicent Health
  • Optional Supplemental Life & Accidental Death coverage is available at group rates
  • Optional Spouse & Dependent Life Insurance is available at nominal rates
  • Coverage available to Full-Time teammates working 30 or more hours per week and Part-Time teammates scheduled to work 20-29 hours per week
  • Coverage begins on 1st of the month following 30 days of active employment

Retirement Benefits

  • Teammates are automatically enrolled in 403(b) upon hire at 3% of earnings
  • Matching contributions for eligible teammates
  • Ability to increase contribution or opt out is available
  • Opportunity to contribute up to the maximum annual amount set by the IRS
  • Several investment funds to choose from; default investments based on retirement age
  • Onsite advisors

Flexible Spending Accounts

  • Pre-tax contributions deposited in Health and/or Dependent Care accounts for future reimbursement of qualified expenses
  • Limited Use FSA available for those enrolled in the Choice Health Plan for qualified Dental and Vision expenses
  • Coverage available to Full-Time teammates working 30 or more hours per week and Part-Time teammates scheduled to work 20-29 hours per week
  • Coverage begins on 1st of the month following 30 days of active employment

Short Term Disability Benefits

  • Three waiting periods available:
    - 8 days
    - 15 days
    - 30 days
  • Income replacement of 60% of gross weekly income
  • The minimum weekly benefit is $50; the maximum is $2,000
  • Coverage available to Full-Time teammates working 30 or more hours per week and Part-Time teammates scheduled to work 20-29 hours per week
  • Coverage begins on 1st of the month following 30 days of active employment

Long Term Disability Benefits

  • Employer provided income replacement of 50% of gross monthly income with a maximum monthly benefit of $10,000
  • Option for teammate to “buy-up” additional 10% of gross monthly income
  • Coverage available to Full-Time teammates working 30 or more hours per week
  • Coverage begins on 1st of the month following 30 days of active employment

Paid Time Off

  • PTO is available for vacation, holidays, bereavement and short duration sick leave
  • Opportunity to cash-in PTO hours available
  • Extended Illness Benefit (EIB) accrual of up to 56 hours annually
  • Automatic accrual for Full-Time teammates working 30 or more hours per week and Part-Time teammates scheduled to work 20-29 hours per week upon 1st day of employment

Teammate Health Services

  • Onsite Employee Health Clinic with three locations (Macon, Byron, and Milledgeville)

  • Available for spouses covered under a Navicent Health medical plan
